When I was nine years old, my stepdad asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I told him I wanted to be an author. While I’m still working on that novel that will make me famous, I’ve been a reader and a writer forever; it’s my first love. Even in a world of 140-character communication, I will always be a loyal fan of the written word and its ability to teach and inspire.


I have been in the publishing industry as a writer and editor for more than a decade, and in the health and fitness field specifically for the past six years, most notably as a regular contributor to Paleo Magazine. I write interviews, research pieces, and product reviews for the magazine, as well as articles on exercise, mental health, fitness, and bodybuilding on my personal blog. I’ve also contributed health and fitness articles to The Globe and Mail and Ottawa magazine.
