The Muscle Maven's Mother's Day Gift Guide

Since this is my first Mother's Day as a mama myself, I'm feeling extra celebratory! I have so much love and respect for all the moms, grandmas, aunties, and women in my world who are so loving, giving, and nurturing, and I wanted to pull together a gift guide for the health-conscious woman in your life.

Mother's Day isn't just about gifts, but if you're going to spend money it's great when it can improve the life (or at least make the day) of someone you love! And of course these gifts aren't just for moms, and not even just for women, but I did put the list together with moms in mind :) And yes, many of these are products I've created or am affiliated with, but I stand by everything in this list as mother-approved!

LEAVE HER ALONE! Ok, this one is a bit of a joke (but not really) because when I posted on social media asking women what they wanted most as a gift, it was alone time - time alone in their home to do what they want, enjoy solitude, and leave their responsibilities behind for a few hours. Many also mentioned things like a spa day, a massage, a pedicure - some kind of special treat that she can enjoy on her own. I personally agree with this one - a whole morning off, combined with a massage would be worth more than gold these days!

Skincare is self-care: Skincare is always a nice treat, especially if it's natural, healthy, and actually works. I've used Primally Pure exclusively for YEARS and I love everything about it - the natural scents, the deluxe feel and packaging, and the ingredients. I've tried nearly all of their products and have never been disappointed. It's also mom-owned :) A great starting point may be the Starter Kit, and you'll get 10% off if you use the code MUSCLEMAVEN.

Makeup for sweaty moms: If the mama in your life, like me, enjoys working out and looking cute, but has little time for either, Sweat Cosmetics is a great gift idea. They make healthy, minimal and very portable makeup products that are easy to bring along in a purse or gym bag and that can help busy women look a little more put-together with minimal effort. Use code ASHLEIGH10 to save!

Beautiful art that will last a lifetime: Art can be a beautiful and meaningful investment, and I find it even more meaningful when I know the artist. I recently invested in a gorgeous piece from my friend Patty Toner (you can find her available works here) but if you know any artists you'd like to support, this can be a great gift for the woman in your life!

Chocolate, duh: Do I need to explain this one? It's literally never a bad idea. My favorite chocolate is from HU (hint hint) and you can get a discount with the code MUSCLEMAVEN.

Get her a beefcake :) Ok you can interpret this one how you want, but surprisingly enough, many women responded to my gift poll by saying they'd love someone to get their groceries (meat included) for them. I think this is a great, practical way to show someone you care, and there are plenty of online resources that offer high-quality animal protein bundles. Force of Nature Meats, ButcherBox, and US Wellness Meats are all great options.

Any great mom-gifts ideas for me? Please leave them in the comments!
